Price Match Guarantee

We match the lowest online price on the products we sell — and if you find a lower price on a product listed over $2,000, we will beat it by $50. Purchase from our store first, then send proof of the lower price (a screenshot, invoice, or email) to support@roboticsselect.com and we will refund the difference.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized online retailer of the product with the item in stock on their website, must be online-only (no retail location), and cannot be a discounter or auction site such as eBay or Overstock. The comparison includes the item price and shipping charges but excludes sales tax.

Rebates, buy-one-get-one offers, and special once-a-year promotions such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday are not eligible. Certain exceptions may apply.

Returns & Refunds

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, free of charge. Custom and made-to-order products are put into production for your specific order, so all sales are final on those items.

You have 30 days from the date you receive an item to start a return — email support@roboticsselect.com or call (412) 415-7375. Products must be returned unopened and unused. Some brands set their own return terms, and the brand-specific policy on the product page overrides the general 30-day window; if the manufacturer will not permit a return, we cannot offer one.

Outright returns after shipment incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping, and manufacturer restocking fees (usually around 20%) may also apply — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds go to your original payment method and are processed within 10 days of our receiving the returned product.

Inspect the package when it arrives: note any damage when signing for delivery and send photos to support@roboticsselect.com within 24 hours — freight damage claims are not valid after 24 hours.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard curbside delivery is always completely free. Most orders ship out within 1-5 business days, and delivery takes 5-8 business days once shipped (estimated delivery 6-13 business days). All shipping times are estimates and can vary by brand, especially for made-to-order items.

Orders ship fully tracked via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and we email your tracking information within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse. If tracking hasn't arrived within six business days of ordering, contact support@roboticsselect.com.

Upgraded delivery options are also available: Threshold Shipping brings the item onto your porch or into a sheltered/garage area, and White Glove Delivery brings it into your room of choice, includes minor assembly, and removes all packaging.

We do not ship outside the USA, with limited exceptions — if checkout accepts your shipping address, we can deliver to it.

Financing Options

Split your purchase into 4 equal, biweekly payments at 0% APR with Shop Pay Installments — no hidden fees and no late fees. For larger orders, monthly installment plans may also be available, with rates from 0% APR or 10-36% APR depending on your purchase amount and eligibility.

Approval is fast and real-time: Shop Pay Installments is powered by Affirm and gives you a decision in seconds at checkout. Checking your eligibility is a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score, and while there are no late fees, partial or late payments may affect your eligibility to use the program in the future.

To qualify, you need a United States billing address and a U.S. mobile phone number that can receive SMS. Prefer PayPal? Choose PayPal Pay Later at checkout to split eligible purchases into interest-free installments (subject to PayPal approval).

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Pro include over the Basic?

The Pro ships ready-to-use with three components the Basic lacks: an onboard NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute module, factory-calibrated stereo depth cameras (front and rear), and a higher-capacity 18 Ah battery extending runtime by approximately 30 percent. The chassis, motors, and locomotion controller are identical between Basic and Pro. Pick Pro if you want autonomy and perception working out of the box.

What perception capabilities are pre-configured?

Forward and rear stereo depth cameras feed a real-time obstacle-avoidance layer that overrides velocity commands when the robot detects a collision threat. RGB-D point clouds are published on standard ROS topics. The factory image includes a SLAM demonstration that builds a 2.5D map as the robot walks. Person-detection and follow modes are provided as demo applications.

Can it autonomously navigate a building?

Yes for waypoint-based navigation in pre-mapped environments. Build a map by tele-operating the robot through the space once with the included SLAM tool. After that, send goal poses on the move_base topic and the Lite3 Pro plans paths and follows them. Truly open-environment autonomous navigation (no prior map) requires additional perception hardware like a lidar.

What is the maximum speed and range?

Maximum walking speed is 2.5 m/s on flat ground. Practical sustained speed during navigation is 1 m/s to allow obstacle avoidance to react. Wireless control range is 100 meters (330 feet) line-of-sight with the included controller, or unlimited if you tunnel commands through Wi-Fi or 4G. Operating range per battery is approximately 5 km on flat terrain.

Can it climb stairs and descend slopes safely?

Yes. Stair climbing is rated for steps up to 20 cm (7.9 inches) with a tread depth of at least 25 cm (9.8 inches). Descent on slopes up to 30 degrees is supported. The robot uses its IMU and joint torques to detect step edges. For unfamiliar staircases, run the stair-detection demo first to confirm geometry. The robot will refuse to descend an unfamiliar staircase until it has confirmed traction.

Is it weatherproof for outdoor inspection?

Rated IP54: splash-resistant from any direction but not submersible. Light to moderate rain, dust, and dry snow are acceptable. Avoid pressure washing, river crossings, or operating in sustained heavy rain. Internal electronics are conformally coated. After any wet operation, dry the joints with a microfiber cloth and store in a dry environment.

How does it integrate with existing inspection software?

The Pro publishes camera feeds, point clouds, joint states, and IMU data on standard ROS 2 topics. Inspection platforms that consume MQTT, ROS 2, or REST APIs can be wired in directly. Pre-built integrations exist for AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, and ROS 2 bridges to the major industrial historian systems. Custom protocol adapters require Python or C++ development on the Jetson.

What is the payload capacity with sensors mounted?

Rated payload is 7.5 kg (17 lb) distributed. The factory cameras and Jetson account for approximately 1 kg (2.2 lb) of that budget, leaving 6.5 kg (14 lb) for additional sensors, robotic arms, or task payloads. Mount points are M5 threaded inserts on the back deck at standard 10 cm (3.9 inches) spacing. Off-center loads reduce stair-climbing capability so balance them as best you can.

How long does the battery last in real-world inspection use?

Continuous walking with cameras and SLAM running: 2 to 2.5 hours per charge. Standby with periodic checks: 4 to 5 hours. Charging from empty takes 1.5 hours. The battery is hot-swappable and a second battery is sold separately. For 8-hour shifts, plan on two batteries plus the original, with rotation through the charger.

Does it work with third-party robotic arms?

Yes within payload limits. The Pro has an Ethernet pass-through and 12V/24V power rails on the back deck that can power a small arm directly. Common pairings include the Elephant Robotics myArm series and the WidowX 250. The combined system requires you to coordinate the arm controller with the locomotion controller through ROS, since the two ship separately.

What is the warranty?

12-month manufacturer warranty covering motors, locomotion controller, Jetson compute module, and factory-installed cameras. Battery is warranted for 6 months or 200 charge cycles, whichever comes first. RoboticsSelect handles all warranty claims as the authorized dealer.
