To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

What does the myController S570 do?

It is a wearable upper-body exoskeleton controller. The operator wears it like a vest with arm cuffs, and the controller's joint encoders track the operator's arm motions in real time. Those motions are streamed to a paired robotic arm (typically a myArm or myCobot) which mirrors the human movements. It is a teleoperation device for training imitation-learning policies and for direct teleoperation.

Which arms does it pair with?

Officially supported pairings: myArm M750, myArm C650, myCobot Pro 600, myCobot 280, and myCobot 320. ROS 2 publishers expose the joint angles, so any robot that subscribes to ROS 2 joint_state topics can theoretically follow the operator. Latency between human motion and arm motion is approximately 30 to 50 ms.

Does it work for collecting imitation-learning data?

Yes, this is one of its primary use cases. The S570 records joint trajectories during demonstrations which can then train policies via behavioral cloning, diffusion policies, or other imitation-learning methods. Most users record 20 to 100 demonstrations per task. Combined with a wrist-mounted camera, this is the standard pipeline for vision-language-action models on small arms.

How does it fit different operators?

Adjustable straps fit operators with arm lengths from approximately 50 to 75 cm (29.5 inches) (most adults). The cuffs are padded and breathable. Calibration takes 30 seconds at the start of each session: the operator holds a neutral pose while the controller zeros its encoders to the operator's body.

Is it wired or wireless?

Wireless via 2.4 GHz radio to a USB receiver on the host computer, with a wired USB option as fallback. Wireless range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet). The onboard battery lasts about 6 hours per charge and recharges via USB-C in 90 minutes.

Can it be used by children?

Yes for older children (approximately 12 and up) with normal supervision. The smallest strap setting fits adolescent arms. Younger children may find the cuffs too loose for accurate tracking. The exoskeleton itself is not active (no motors that can move on their own); it is a passive sensor that tracks the wearer's motion.
