Price Match Guarantee

At RoboticsSelect, you should never have to choose between the right product and the right price. We match competitor pricing on every product in our catalog, and for orders over $2,000, we will beat the lowest verified price by $50.

To request a price match, send a screenshot or link to support@roboticsselect.com showing the lower price at any authorized online retailer. We respond within one business day.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized dealer, the product must be in stock on their site, and the comparison includes shipping but excludes sales tax. Auction sites, marketplace third-party sellers, and one-day holiday promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) are excluded.

Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Portable AI Educational Workstation?

A self-contained classroom workstation that bundles a robotic arm, a webcam, a small touchscreen computer, a sample object kit, and a curriculum-aligned software suite. It is designed for K-12 and early college AI and robotics classes. The complete unit fits on a standard classroom desk and can be wheeled between rooms.

What does the curriculum cover?

Vision basics (color recognition, shape detection), introductory machine learning (training a simple classifier), basic robotics control (joint angles, end-effector positioning), and integrated activities that combine the three. 30 lesson plans aligned to common AI literacy frameworks. Designed for a full school year or as a flexible elective.

What age range is it appropriate for?

Grades 6 through 12 (ages approximately 11 to 18). The curriculum scales with age: younger students use block-based programming, older students use Python and explore deeper ML topics. Younger students need closer supervision around the moving arm but are not at risk of injury under normal use.

Is it pre-loaded with everything needed to start teaching?

Yes. The included computer arrives pre-configured with the curriculum software, all libraries, all example datasets, and all answer keys for instructor reference. No internet connection is required for the standard curriculum. An optional cloud-based extension supports remote-learning scenarios but is not mandatory.

How portable is it actually?

The full unit weighs approximately 12 kg (26 lb) and packs into a single rolling case. One adult can move it between classrooms in under 5 minutes. Setup at a new location takes about 5 minutes (unpack, connect power, run startup script). Designed for shared use across multiple classrooms in a school.

What ongoing costs are there beyond the initial purchase?

None for the standard curriculum. Curriculum updates and software updates are provided free for the first 24 months. After that, an optional update subscription is available but not required; the original curriculum continues to function indefinitely.

Does it require trained teachers to use?

Designed for general technology and STEM teachers without prior robotics or AI experience. Instructor training takes approximately 4 hours and can be done through included video tutorials or through a paid live training session with the manufacturer. Most teachers become comfortable leading the curriculum after one practice run-through.

Can multiple students use it at once?

It is sized for one student or a pair of students at a time. For larger classes, the recommended pattern is rotation: students cycle through the workstation in pairs while the rest of the class works on accompanying paper or laptop activities. Schools with full robotics labs typically purchase 4 to 8 units for simultaneous use.
