Price Match Guarantee

We match the lowest online price on the products we sell — and if you find a lower price on a product listed over $2,000, we will beat it by $50. Purchase from our store first, then send proof of the lower price (a screenshot, invoice, or email) to support@roboticsselect.com and we will refund the difference.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized online retailer of the product with the item in stock on their website, must be online-only (no retail location), and cannot be a discounter or auction site such as eBay or Overstock. The comparison includes the item price and shipping charges but excludes sales tax.

Rebates, buy-one-get-one offers, and special once-a-year promotions such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday are not eligible. Certain exceptions may apply.

Returns & Refunds

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, free of charge. Custom and made-to-order products are put into production for your specific order, so all sales are final on those items.

You have 30 days from the date you receive an item to start a return — email support@roboticsselect.com or call (412) 415-7375. Products must be returned unopened and unused. Some brands set their own return terms, and the brand-specific policy on the product page overrides the general 30-day window; if the manufacturer will not permit a return, we cannot offer one.

Outright returns after shipment incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping, and manufacturer restocking fees (usually around 20%) may also apply — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds go to your original payment method and are processed within 10 days of our receiving the returned product.

Inspect the package when it arrives: note any damage when signing for delivery and send photos to support@roboticsselect.com within 24 hours — freight damage claims are not valid after 24 hours.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard curbside delivery is always completely free. Most orders ship out within 1-5 business days, and delivery takes 5-8 business days once shipped (estimated delivery 6-13 business days). All shipping times are estimates and can vary by brand, especially for made-to-order items.

Orders ship fully tracked via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and we email your tracking information within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse. If tracking hasn't arrived within six business days of ordering, contact support@roboticsselect.com.

Upgraded delivery options are also available: Threshold Shipping brings the item onto your porch or into a sheltered/garage area, and White Glove Delivery brings it into your room of choice, includes minor assembly, and removes all packaging.

We do not ship outside the USA, with limited exceptions — if checkout accepts your shipping address, we can deliver to it.

Financing Options

Split your purchase into 4 equal, biweekly payments at 0% APR with Shop Pay Installments — no hidden fees and no late fees. For larger orders, monthly installment plans may also be available, with rates from 0% APR or 10-36% APR depending on your purchase amount and eligibility.

Approval is fast and real-time: Shop Pay Installments is powered by Affirm and gives you a decision in seconds at checkout. Checking your eligibility is a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score, and while there are no late fees, partial or late payments may affect your eligibility to use the program in the future.

To qualify, you need a United States billing address and a U.S. mobile phone number that can receive SMS. Prefer PayPal? Choose PayPal Pay Later at checkout to split eligible purchases into interest-free installments (subject to PayPal approval).

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of robot is the TRON1?

The TRON1 from LimX Dynamics is a full-sized point-foot bipedal humanoid platform, standing approximately 1.4 m, weighing about 65 kg (140 lb), with 12 actuated joints. It is built for real-world bipedal locomotion research, reinforcement-learning policy deployment, and as a development platform for service humanoid applications. It is a research robot, not a consumer product.

How does it differ from a full humanoid like the Astribot S1?

TRON1 has legs only, no arms or torso. It is a locomotion-focused platform. The Astribot S1 is a complete dual-arm humanoid with manipulation capabilities. Choose TRON1 if your research is locomotion, balance, or sim-to-real RL. Choose the S1 (or pair TRON1 with a separate manipulation platform) if you need both walking and manipulation.

What is the maximum walking and running speed?

Walking speed is 1.5 m/s sustained, peak running gait at 3.5 m/s for short bursts. The robot handles standard step heights up to 25 cm (9.8 inches) and slopes up to 20 degrees. Higher-performance gaits are available through the SDK but come with higher fall risk; the factory tuning prioritizes stability over speed.

Does it come with onboard compute and sensors?

Yes. An onboard NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute module is factory-installed. The base TRON1 includes IMU, joint encoders, and force-torque sensors at each foot. Cameras and lidar are not included on the base model and are added by the customer based on application. The chassis has standardized power, USB, and Ethernet for sensor integration.

How long does the battery last?

Continuous walking runtime is 1.5 to 2 hours per battery. Standby is up to 4 hours. A second hot-swappable battery is included. Charging from empty takes 90 minutes. For 8-hour testing sessions, a third battery purchased separately rotated through the charger gives full-day coverage.

What programming frameworks are supported?

Open SDK in C++ and Python. ROS 2 Humble packages are published. Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, and Gazebo Sim simulation environments are provided with calibrated URDF and MJCF files. LimX publishes reinforcement-learning training scripts and sim-to-real transfer examples on GitHub. Custom controllers can be developed at any level from joint-torque to high-level locomotion commands.

Is it safe to operate near people?

TRON1 is a research robot, not a certified collaborative humanoid. Joint-torque limits and fall-detection software help, but at 65 kg (140 lb) falling on a person could cause serious injury. Operate only in supervised lab environments, use a fall-arrest gantry for early policy testing, and clear the workspace before untethered runs. It is not suitable for office or public-facing demonstrations without significant additional safety hardware.

What payload can it carry?

Approximately 5 kg (11 lb) distributed on the torso for sensor packs and computers. The robot is not designed for heavy carrying tasks; it is a locomotion platform. If you need a humanoid that walks and lifts substantial loads, the Astribot S1 or larger LimX platforms are better matches.

Can it climb stairs and irregular terrain?

Yes within the rated step height (25 cm (9.8 inches)) and slope (20 degrees). The factory locomotion controller handles standard residential and office staircases. Complex parkour-style movements (jumping gaps, vaulting) are research targets but are not stable factory features. Reinforcement-learning policies developed by the user can extend the terrain envelope significantly.

What warranty applies?

12-month manufacturer warranty covering motors, controllers, electronics, and onboard compute. Wear items including foot pads and battery cells after 6 months are not covered. Warranty service handled through RoboticsSelect as authorized dealer. Research platforms used for high-impact stunts (jumping, falls) may void coverage on the affected components.

What is the typical lead time?

TRON1 is built to order. Lead time from order placement to dispatch is approximately 6 to 10 weeks depending on configuration. RoboticsSelect coordinates the order with LimX Dynamics directly and provides shipping estimates at the time of order. Expedited builds are sometimes available for academic deadlines.
