Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Sora 10 clean my tanning ledge or sun shelf?

The Sora 10 reaches platforms as shallow as 12 inches deep and operates in water as low as 13.8 inches. If your tanning ledge is shallower than 12 inches, the Sora 10 cannot fully clean it; the Sora 30 reaches 8 inches and the Sora 70 also reaches 8 inches. Beatbot specifies the cleanable platform must measure at least 3.3 ft x 3.3 ft for the robot to maneuver onto it.

How does the Sora 10 compare to the Sora 30 for the $300 price difference?

Both robots share the 6,800 GPH suction, 5L basket, 4-zone coverage, and HydroBalance architecture. The Sora 30 adds a 10,000 mAh battery (versus 7,800 mAh), 8-inch shallow reach (versus 12-inch), 14 sensors (versus 11), SmartDrain water expulsion, and Smart Water-Surface Parking. The Sora 30 also charges in 4.5 hours instead of 3.5. If your pool has shallow zones below 12 inches or exceeds 2,500 sq. ft., the upgrade matters; otherwise the Sora 10 is the better value.

Does the Sora 10 work with saltwater pools?

Yes, the Sora 10 is rated for saltwater pools with concentrations up to 5,000 PPM. Beatbot states this threshold covers nearly all residential saltwater systems. Above 5,000 PPM (industrial or specialty installations), use is not warranted.

How long does the battery actually last during a real cleaning cycle?

Beatbot rates the Sora 10 at up to 300 minutes for floor-only mode. Real-world runtime in Auto mode (floor plus walls plus waterline) is typically 3 to 4 hours depending on pool size, debris load, and water temperature. Wall and waterline cleaning consume more battery than floor mode.

Will the Sora 10 fit through my above-ground pool's narrow ladder opening?

The Sora 10 measures 17.01 inches L x 15.20 inches W x 10.51 inches H and weighs 18.7 lbs dry. Most above-ground pool ladders and entry openings exceed these dimensions, but measure your ladder gap before purchase. The robot must be lowered into the water (not climbed in over the wall) to start a cycle properly.

Does the Sora 10 clean infinity edges and skimmer mouths?

The Sora 10 cleans the floor, walls, and waterline of infinity pools but does not clean the actual overflow channel or infinity edge weir, which require manual brushing. The robot will avoid the skimmer mouth and main drain via ultrasonic obstacle detection.

How often do I need to empty the 5L basket?

For routine maintenance in a typical residential pool, emptying once per cycle is standard. Pools with heavy leaf load or after storms may require mid-cycle emptying. The 5L capacity holds approximately 650 medium-sized leaves before suction degrades.

Is the app required to use the Sora 10?

No. The Sora 10 has a physical power button that starts an Auto cleaning cycle without the app. The Beatbot app is required for mode selection (Floor-Only, Energy-Saving), scheduling, and one-tap parking commands.

Can I leave the Sora 10 in the pool between cleaning cycles?

Beatbot does not recommend continuous submersion. Remove the robot after each cycle, empty the basket, rinse with fresh water, and store on the charging dock in a shaded dry location. Prolonged exposure to UV, chemicals, and water shortens component life.

Does the Sora 10 clean during pool shock or after chemical treatment?

Wait until chlorine and pH levels return to safe ranges (free chlorine 1-3 PPM, pH 7.2-7.8) before running the Sora 10. Operating during shock treatment accelerates wear on brushes, seals, and filter media.

What additional protection do I get buying from RoboticsSelect as an authorized Beatbot dealer?

RoboticsSelect is an authorized Beatbot dealer, so the full 24-month manufacturer warranty applies to all Sora 10 purchases. Direct dealer purchasing also makes Beatbot's optional 1-year warranty extension available, and U.S.-based shipping fulfillment reduces transit damage and delivery times compared to imports.
