Beatbot Pool Cleaner Comparison
Beatbot's range runs from the $474 Sora 10 to the self-emptying AquaSense X, and the differences are real: cleaning zones, suction, navigation intelligence, and how much work is left for you at the end of a cycle. This guide compares the six most distinct current models side by side - the Sora 30 and Sora 70, and the four AquaSense machines - using specifications from Beatbot's official product documentation. Prices shown are current store prices and may change with promotions.

Two more Beatbot machines round out the range. The Sora 10 ($474) shares the Sora 30's 6,800 GPH suction and 5 L basket but uses a smaller 7,800 mAh battery and reaches platforms down to 12 inches rather than 8. The iSkim Ultra ($999) is a solar-assisted surface skimmer for pools up to roughly 3,200 square feet that runs alongside any floor cleaner. Cleaner-plus-skimmer bundles of the AquaSense 2 and Sora 30 are also available at a discount over buying separately.
Which Beatbot should you buy?
Beatbot Sora 30
$689.00Choose this if you want the strongest suction in the range at the lowest full-coverage price. It cleans floor, walls, waterline, and shallow platforms down to 8 inches, runs up to 5 hours, and auto-surfaces at the pool edge when done. The trade-off versus the AquaSense line: no surface skimming and a 2-year rather than 3-year warranty.
Beatbot Sora 70
From $1,099.00Choose this if you want surface skimming without flagship pricing. It is the only Sora that cleans the water surface - JetPulse jets pull floating debris inward - and its 6 L basket (roughly 800 leaves) suits pools under heavy tree cover. Up to 7 hours of surface runtime and a 3-year warranty.
Beatbot AquaSense 2
$749.00Choose this if you want AquaSense engineering for underwater work only. It maps the pool with 16 sensors, cleans floor, walls, and waterline, scrubs the waterline twice per pass, and charges on a wireless dock. The best value in the range if floating debris is not your problem.
Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro
$1,899.00Choose this if surface debris is constant - leaves, blossoms, pollen. The 5-in-1 Pro skims the surface for up to 11 hours on a charge, cleans everything below it, and dispenses a natural clarifying agent for fine particles. Nine motors and a 3.7 L basket handle large pools up to 3,875 square feet.
Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra
From $2,499.00Choose this if your pool is irregular, multi-level, or heavily shaded. The Ultra adds an AI camera to the Pro platform: HybridSense maps the pool with 27 sensors, AI Cruise spots missed debris, dual side brushes reach corners, and LED headlights enable night cleaning. You can review the cleaning map in the app afterward.
Beatbot AquaSense X
From $4,250.00Choose this if you want the least hands-on pool care possible. After each run the X docks into its AstroRinse station, which rinses the filter and empties debris into a 22 L bin that needs emptying about every two months. Add 6,800 GPH suction, 29-sensor AI vision, and voice control, and the pool genuinely looks after itself.
Beatbot comparison FAQs
Do Beatbot cleaners work in saltwater pools?
Yes. Every model in this comparison is rated for saltwater pools up to 5,000 ppm salt concentration, which covers nearly all residential salt systems. Rinse the unit with fresh water after cycles to prevent salt buildup on seals and external components, and keep water chemistry within Beatbot's recommended ranges to protect your warranty.
Do I need the app to run a Beatbot?
No. Every model starts a default cleaning cycle from the unit itself. The Beatbot app (iOS and Android, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) adds mode selection, scheduling, firmware updates, and remote start - and on the AquaSense 2 Ultra and AquaSense X it also displays the pool map and cleaning path after each run, plus remote steering. Most owners set a weekly schedule once and rarely open the app again.
What warranty applies when I buy from RoboticsSelect?
RoboticsSelect is an authorized Beatbot dealer, so the full manufacturer warranty applies: 3-year full machine replacement on the AquaSense models and Sora 70, and a 2-year limited warranty on the Sora 30. A 30-day return window applies through RoboticsSelect - keep the original packaging during that period. Warranty claims run through our U.S. support team at support@roboticsselect.com or (412) 415-7375.
