Price Match Guarantee

At RoboticsSelect, you should never have to choose between the right product and the right price. We match competitor pricing on every product in our catalog, and for orders over $2,000, we will beat the lowest verified price by $50.

To request a price match, send a screenshot or link to support@roboticsselect.com showing the lower price at any authorized online retailer. We respond within one business day.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized dealer, the product must be in stock on their site, and the comparison includes shipping but excludes sales tax. Auction sites, marketplace third-party sellers, and one-day holiday promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) are excluded.

Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the AI version include that the standard Basic does not?

The Lite3 Basic AI ships with an onboard NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano compute module pre-installed and pre-configured with Ubuntu, ROS 2 Humble, and Deep Robotics' perception stack. The Standard Basic has no onboard computer. The AI version is the right starting point if you want to run vision, SLAM, or learned policies directly on the robot without adding your own hardware.

Does it come with cameras or sensors?

The Basic AI ships with the Jetson compute module but does NOT include depth cameras, lidar, or ToF sensors out of the box. You add the perception hardware that fits your application. The chassis has standardized USB and Ethernet ports for sensor integration. Common pairings include the Intel RealSense D435i for depth, Livox Mid-360 for lidar, and StereoLabs ZED cameras for stereo vision.

Can I run my own neural network models on the onboard Jetson?

Yes. The Jetson Orin Nano provides 40 TOPS of AI compute, sufficient for most small-to-medium vision and policy networks. PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, and TensorRT are all preinstalled. You can ship a pretrained model to the robot, optimize it with TensorRT, and run it in real time alongside the locomotion controller. Full Linux access is provided so you can install any additional libraries you need.

What is the difference between Basic AI and Lite3 Pro?

Both have onboard Jetson compute. The Pro adds factory-installed depth cameras, a higher-capacity battery, and a slightly heavier chassis tuned for outdoor inspection. The Basic AI gives you the compute but lets you choose your own sensors. Choose Basic AI if you have specific perception hardware in mind. Choose Pro if you want a turn-key indoor-or-outdoor inspection platform.

How do I deploy code to the onboard computer?

The Jetson is reachable over Wi-Fi or Ethernet via SSH. You can develop on a Linux laptop, push code with rsync or git, and launch your nodes with ROS launch files or systemd services. The robot exposes the locomotion controller as a ROS topic, so your perception nodes publish velocity commands and the locomotion layer handles balance and gait selection.

Can it follow a person or navigate autonomously?

Both behaviors are achievable but require integration work on your part. Person-following typically uses a depth camera plus a YOLO-based detection model running on the Jetson, with the bounding box centroid driving the velocity command. SLAM-based autonomous navigation requires a lidar plus the Nav2 stack. Deep Robotics provides example code for both but does not ship them as turn-key features on the Basic AI.

What is the runtime impact of running AI workloads?

Battery life drops from approximately 2 hours of pure walking to roughly 1.2 to 1.5 hours when the Jetson is running a vision model at 30 FPS plus a policy network. Heat-dissipation fans on the Jetson also draw additional power. For long-duration deployments, plan for hot-swappable second batteries and consider thermal-throttling behavior if ambient temperature exceeds 30 C (86 F).

Does the Jetson come pre-flashed with the Deep Robotics SDK?

Yes. The Jetson ships with Ubuntu 20.04, JetPack with CUDA and TensorRT, ROS 2 Humble, and the Deep Robotics SDK pre-installed. A factory-image flash drive is included in case you need to restore the system after experimentation. Custom OS images are not supported by warranty so keep a backup of the factory configuration before reflashing.

Is this suitable for university research and publications?

Yes. The Lite3 platform appears in published research on locomotion learning, multi-robot coordination, and vision-language navigation. The open SDK and standard hardware make experiments reproducible by other labs. Cite Deep Robotics' platform documentation and include URDF version numbers in your methods sections to support reproducibility.

What warranty is included?

12-month manufacturer warranty on hardware. The Jetson compute module is covered by NVIDIA's separate component warranty. RoboticsSelect handles all warranty claims as the authorized dealer. Wear items including rubber foot pads, battery packs after 6 months, and cosmetic damage from drops are not covered.
