Returns & Refunds

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, free of charge. Custom and made-to-order products are put into production for your specific order, so all sales are final on those items.

You have 30 days from the date you receive an item to start a return — email support@roboticsselect.com or call (412) 415-7375. Products must be returned unopened and unused. Some brands set their own return terms, and the brand-specific policy on the product page overrides the general 30-day window; if the manufacturer will not permit a return, we cannot offer one.

Outright returns after shipment incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping, and manufacturer restocking fees (usually around 20%) may also apply — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds go to your original payment method and are processed within 10 days of our receiving the returned product.

Inspect the package when it arrives: note any damage when signing for delivery and send photos to support@roboticsselect.com within 24 hours — freight damage claims are not valid after 24 hours.

Standard curbside delivery is always completely free. Most orders ship out within 1-5 business days, and delivery takes 5-8 business days once shipped (estimated delivery 6-13 business days). All shipping times are estimates and can vary by brand, especially for made-to-order items.

Orders ship fully tracked via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and we email your tracking information within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse. If tracking hasn't arrived within six business days of ordering, contact support@roboticsselect.com.

Upgraded delivery options are also available: Threshold Shipping brings the item onto your porch or into a sheltered/garage area, and White Glove Delivery brings it into your room of choice, includes minor assembly, and removes all packaging.

We do not ship outside the USA, with limited exceptions — if checkout accepts your shipping address, we can deliver to it.

What is the difference between the Lynx M20 Pro and the Lite3?

The Lynx M20 Pro is a larger, wheel-legged platform built for industrial inspection. It carries a 15 kg (33 lb) effective payload, up to 50 kg (110 lb) maximum, versus the Lite3's 5 kg continuous load; it has all-weather IP66 sealing, where the Lite3 carries no official IP rating; and it runs up to 3 hours unloaded or 2.5 hours under load on its pair of hot-swappable batteries, versus roughly 2 hours on the Lite3. It includes factory-installed dual LiDAR and cameras. It is positioned for outdoor utility, power and energy, and large-facility inspection rather than indoor research.

What sensors come pre-installed on the M20 Pro?

Two 96-line LiDAR units providing a 360 degree by 90 degree field of view (approximately 860,000 points per second) and two wide-angle cameras, along with an IMU. The combination supports outdoor SLAM, autonomous patrol, and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance on inspection routes.

Can it navigate autonomously without a pre-built map?

It builds its own map. The Pro includes Deep Robotics' SLAM localization and mapping and autonomous navigation, using its dual LiDAR units, so no externally supplied map is needed. In practice you drive the robot through the site once in Regular mode to build the map, then run navigation tasks in Navigation mode, where the robot moves autonomously with terrain recognition and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. With the optional autonomous charging capability, it can also return to its charging station on its own.

Is it suitable for outdoor industrial inspection?

Yes. The IP66 rating, which applies with both batteries installed, makes it dust-tight and protects against powerful water jets, so it operates reliably in heavy rain and dust. Operating temperature range is -4 F to 131 F (-20 C to 55 C). IP66 does not cover submersion, so avoid standing water deep enough to immerse the chassis, and wipe the unit down after wet operation. Common deployments include substation and power-line inspection, emergency response, and logistics across uneven sites.

What is the maximum walking speed and stair capability?

Maximum operating speed is 2 m/s, with a lab-tested maximum of 5 m/s. Continuous stair height is rated up to 25 cm (9.8 inches), with single-step obstacle clearance up to 80 cm (31.5 inches). Slope climbing is supported up to 45 degrees. The wider stance and heavier mass compared to the Lite3 give the M20 Pro better stability on uneven terrain, and it still fits through spaces as narrow as 20 inches (50 cm).

How does charging work for autonomous patrols?

Autonomous charging is an optional capability: the robot switches to navigation mode, returns to its charging station, and charges itself. A battery takes about 1.5 hours to charge, and the included charging hub charges two batteries at once. Without the dock, the two onboard batteries are hot-swappable, and either one can be replaced while the robot stays powered on, so spare packs rotated through the hub keep it running through a long shift.

What payload accessories are available?

Deep Robotics does not publish a fixed accessory catalog for the M20 Pro; it is an open platform for third-party payloads. Two mounting rails with M4 holes carry a back payload up to 33 lb (15 kg) and 11.8 inches (30 cm) tall, and Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and 24 V and 72 V expansion power outputs feed sensors, a robotic arm, or compute modules. Contact us to discuss specific integrations such as thermal cameras, gas detectors, or PTZ cameras. An effective payload of 33 lb (15 kg), with a 110 lb (50 kg) maximum static load, covers most inspection sensor combinations with margin.

Does it integrate with SCADA or industrial monitoring systems?

Through its open development interfaces. Deep Robotics publishes a TCP or UDP command and status protocol for the M20 series, the front and rear cameras stream over RTSP, and the Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 ports accept your own edge computer. Deep Robotics does not publish MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, or cloud connectors, so pushing inspection data (images, lidar point clouds, sensor readings) into SCADA or historian systems is custom development on your side; contact us to discuss your integration requirements.

What programming and simulation support is available?

Deep Robotics publishes a Lynx M20 Series Software Development Manual covering a TCP or UDP control and telemetry protocol with C++ sample code, and a Hardware Development Manual for payload integration, with developer resources on its GitHub. The M20 Pro's onboard computing is a set of industrial octa-core processors rather than the Lite3's motion host, and its protocol is separate from the Lite3 SDK, so plan on porting rather than reusing Lite3 code. Contact us if your project depends on ROS packages, simulation models, or reinforcement-learning environments for the M20 Pro.

What is the warranty and lead time?

12-month full-unit manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery, with the battery and joints covered for 6 months; damage from misuse, use outside the recommended operating conditions, unauthorized repair, and normal wear on consumable parts is not covered. Contact us for the current lead time. RoboticsSelect coordinates the order with Deep Robotics directly and confirms the shipping estimate at the time of order.
