Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

What is the LIMO Cobot?

A combined platform consisting of a wheeled mobile base (the LIMO from AgileX Robotics) with a myCobot 280 robotic arm mounted on top. Together they form a small mobile-manipulation platform suitable for teaching mobile manipulation, fetching tasks, and warehouse-style mobile pick-and-place. It is a packaged research and education kit.

Is it ready to use out of the box or requires assembly?

Mostly assembled: the arm comes pre-mounted on the mobile base with all power and communication wiring pre-routed. After unboxing, you connect the included batteries, follow a 15-minute software setup, and the platform is ready for programming. No mechanical assembly is required for standard use.

Can the mobile base navigate autonomously?

Yes. The LIMO base ships with a built-in lidar and an NVIDIA Jetson Nano running ROS 2. SLAM-based mapping and Nav2-based navigation are pre-configured. Map a room by tele-operating the LIMO once, then send goal poses on standard Nav2 topics.

How does the arm coordinate with the base?

Both run on the onboard Jetson Nano with ROS 2 Humble. A coordination layer handles arm-base interactions: the base stops automatically before the arm executes manipulation. Cooperative behaviors (mobile pick from a moving base) are not supported in the factory firmware but can be implemented through ROS.

What is the rated runtime?

Mobile base runs approximately 4 hours per charge with the arm idle, 2 to 3 hours with the arm doing active manipulation. Charging from empty takes about 2 hours. Spare batteries are available separately for extended testing sessions.

What payload can the arm handle?

The myCobot 280 mounted on the LIMO has a payload of 250 g, the standard for that arm. The mobile base itself can carry an additional 5 kg (11 lb) payload on its top deck (above the arm), useful for sensors or task-specific containers.

Is this suitable for university research?

Yes. The platform appears in published research on mobile manipulation, language-conditioned navigation, and warehouse-style fetching. The full software stack is open. ROS 2 integration makes it compatible with current research frameworks. Reasonable choice for thesis-scale or course-project mobile-manipulation research.

Does it work indoors only?

Designed for indoor flat surfaces (offices, labs, classrooms, smooth warehouse floors). The mobile base does not handle rough outdoor terrain or grass. The arm is not weatherproof. For outdoor research use a Lite3 quadruped with a separate arm payload.

What is the warranty?

12-month manufacturer warranty on both the LIMO base and the myCobot arm. Battery is warranted 6 months. RoboticsSelect provides authorized warranty service for both components through the integrated platform.
