Price Match Guarantee

At RoboticsSelect, you should never have to choose between the right product and the right price. We match competitor pricing on every product in our catalog, and for orders over $2,000, we will beat the lowest verified price by $50.

To request a price match, send a screenshot or link to support@roboticsselect.com showing the lower price at any authorized online retailer. We respond within one business day.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized dealer, the product must be in stock on their site, and the comparison includes shipping but excludes sales tax. Auction sites, marketplace third-party sellers, and one-day holiday promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) are excluded.

Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the cell use a 6-axis arm and a 3-axis arm together?

Different kinematic types suit different warehouse tasks. The 6-axis Mirobot excels at varied-orientation palletizing where goods arrive in different positions and need to be placed at varied orientations on shelves. The 3-axis arm excels at streamlined linear pick-and-place between defined positions where orientation flexibility is unnecessary. Real warehouses use both arm types extensively; the cell makes the architecture choice tangible.

What scenarios can the cell simulate?

Typical scenarios include: goods arrival at the Mirobot palletizing zone, transport via conveyor to the 3-axis arm handling zone, retrieval from storage, and cyclical re-palletizing. Custom scenarios extend to specific industry simulations like e-commerce parcel handling, retail SKU sorting, and pharmaceutical pick-pack operations.

What's the role of the position sensors?

Position sensors detect goods on the conveyor and at pick-up/place-down positions, enabling closed-loop motion. Without sensors, arms would execute timed-only sequences with no feedback. With sensors, the cell achieves real industrial automation behavior: detect arrival, execute pickup, verify completion. Students learn sensor-integration logic essential for industrial automation roles.

Is the WLKATA product page showing this cell as coming soon?

The current WLKATA product page may display a placeholder while the page is being updated. The product configuration and curriculum content above are sourced from documented legacy WLKATA product specifications and the official Mirobot user manual. Verify the current configuration with WLKATA before final listing if the WLKATA page has not yet been updated.

Can the cell extend to include AGV-based mobile manipulation?

Yes, with an additional WLKATA AGV Rover Set (sold separately). Adding an AGV creates a three-element warehouse simulation: stationary arms at fixed work zones, mobile AGV transporting goods between zones beyond the conveyor's reach. This extended configuration mirrors real warehouse operations using AMRs (autonomous mobile robots) for inter-zone transport.

What end-effectors are best for warehouse simulation?

Suction cups suit large flat-surface goods like boxes; pneumatic grippers suit irregular-geometry goods; electromagnetic grippers suit ferrous-metal goods. The cell typically ships with grippers appropriate for the included accessory package goods. For custom scenarios, WLKATA supports a broader end-effector catalog.

How does the cell compare to the AI Automatic Sorting Cell and Automobile Assembly Cell?

The Logistic Warehouse Cell focuses on warehouse and intralogistics scenarios using a 6-axis Mirobot and 3-axis handling arm. The AI Automatic Sorting Cell focuses on AI vision-guided sorting using OpenCV. The Automobile Assembly Cell focuses on multi-station automotive assembly with welding simulation. Schools teaching broad smart-manufacturing curriculum often deploy multiple cells.

What student skill level is appropriate for the cell?

The cell supports a range. High school students using Blockly complete introductory palletizing and conveyor exercises. Community college students using C++ via Arduino develop coordinated dual-arm sorting algorithms. University students using Python and ROS2 integrate vision, AI, or AGV mobility in capstone projects.

Can the cell be extended with vision systems for AI-driven sorting?

Yes. WLKATA's AI Vision Set integrates with the cell as an optional expansion, enabling vision-guided palletizing or vision-driven sorting at either work zone. This is a common curriculum extension for schools that want both warehouse simulation and vision-AI training on the same platform.

Is the Smart Base M variant required, or is the standard configuration sufficient?

The base configuration (Mirobot + 3-Axis Arm + Conveyor + Bottom Plate + Accessory Package) is sufficient for the cell's core curriculum. The expanded variant adding a WLKATA Production Line Smart Base, Size M provides enhanced mounting integration and a more polished benchtop presentation. Vocational programs typically choose based on budget; university and research deployments more often choose the Smart Base M variant for production-quality presentation in lab demos and research publications.
