Price Match Guarantee

At RoboticsSelect, you should never have to choose between the right product and the right price. We match competitor pricing on every product in our catalog, and for orders over $2,000, we will beat the lowest verified price by $50.

To request a price match, send a screenshot or link to support@roboticsselect.com showing the lower price at any authorized online retailer. We respond within one business day.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized dealer, the product must be in stock on their site, and the comparison includes shipping but excludes sales tax. Auction sites, marketplace third-party sellers, and one-day holiday promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) are excluded.

Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Navigation Learning Kit different from the Development Kit?

The Navigation Kit specifically focuses on multimodal control: vision, voice, and gesture inputs combined with arm output. The Development Kit covers AI development broadly (classification, detection, optimization). Both use the xFactory Brain. Choose Navigation for project-based courses focused on natural-interface AI applications. Choose Development for foundational AI literacy.

What inputs does it support?

Vision (camera-based object detection and pose recognition), voice (microphone with on-device speech recognition for short commands), and gesture (camera-based hand-pose detection). Each input feeds into the arm's control logic so students can build natural-interface demos.

Does the voice recognition work offline?

Yes. The xFactory Brain runs a small offline keyword-spotting model that recognizes a vocabulary of approximately 30 words trained at the factory. Students can retrain the keyword list on their own custom vocabulary using the included tools. Cloud speech recognition is also possible via optional Google or AWS integration but is not required.

Can the kit recognize specific gestures or only general motion?

Specific gestures. The vision pipeline uses MediaPipe Hands to extract hand-pose landmarks, then a small classifier maps the landmark positions to a gesture vocabulary. Pre-trained gestures include thumbs-up, thumbs-down, open palm, closed fist, and pointing. Students can train new gestures by collecting 50 to 100 samples each.

What kind of projects do students typically build?

Voice-commanded sorting (say a color, the arm picks objects of that color), gesture-controlled drawing (the arm draws lines based on hand motion), AI-tutor demonstrations (the arm guides the student through tasks based on detected confusion), and accessibility-focused projects (head-pose-driven control for users with limited mobility).

Does it include Arduino integration?

Yes. The kit includes an Arduino board for teaching students how to interface AI logic with low-level sensors and actuators. The xFactory Brain connects to the Arduino via I2C and serial. Students learn that production AI systems often combine multiple compute layers: the Brain handles inference, the Arduino handles real-time hardware control.

What programming experience does it assume?

Python is the primary language. Block-based programming is available for the introductory chapters. Arduino programming uses C++ but is wrapped in pre-built libraries; students typically don't write raw C++. Suitable for students with one prior coding course.

What is the warranty?

12-month warranty on hardware. Curriculum updates provided free for 24 months. RoboticsSelect handles warranty service.
