Price Match Guarantee

At RoboticsSelect, you should never have to choose between the right product and the right price. We match competitor pricing on every product in our catalog, and for orders over $2,000, we will beat the lowest verified price by $50.

To request a price match, send a screenshot or link to support@roboticsselect.com showing the lower price at any authorized online retailer. We respond within one business day.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized dealer, the product must be in stock on their site, and the comparison includes shipping but excludes sales tax. Auction sites, marketplace third-party sellers, and one-day holiday promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) are excluded.

Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the four-stage workflow this cell simulates?

The cell simulates a complete personalized-product manufacturing workflow: (1) AI vision recognition identifies parts arriving on the conveyor, (2) laser engraving personalizes each part via surface marking, (3) packaging prepares finished parts for output, (4) palletizing organizes finished output. This four-stage flow is documented in WLKATA's official product demonstration video and mirrors the production model used by personalized-gift and custom-merchandise manufacturers.

What materials can the laser engrave?

Typical materials include wood (hardwood and softwood), acrylic, anodized aluminum, leather, paper/cardboard, and some plastics. Exact material compatibility depends on the laser module included; entry-level lasers typically handle softer materials, while higher-power lasers handle metals and harder substrates. Confirm specific material compatibility with WLKATA based on intended souvenir products.

Why use both MT4 and Mirobot in this cell?

The MT4's 4-axis palletizing kinematics excel at high-precision vertical pick-and-place and end-of-line palletizing operations: standard tasks for the packaging and sort stages. The Mirobot's 6-axis flexibility excels at varied-orientation manipulation: ideal for the inspect and engrave stages where parts may arrive in unpredictable orientations. The dual-arm architecture teaches students why different kinematic types suit different production stages.

Is the cell safe to operate in a classroom environment?

Yes, with appropriate safety protocols. The laser module includes a safety enclosure with interlocks; the robotic arms have payload limits that prevent collision hazards; the cell is benchtop-scale rather than industrial-scale. Educators must enforce standard laser-safety practices including PPE (laser-safety goggles matched to the laser wavelength), enclosure-interlock compliance, and laser-safety signage. Schools should have a designated laser-safety officer for ongoing operation.

Can the cell produce real, take-home engraved souvenirs?

Yes. The cell's engraving capability is real, not simulated. Students program the cell to engrave actual personalized items (keychains, name tags, small acrylic plaques, wooden coasters) that can be taken home as tangible artifacts of their learning. This produces a memorable hands-on experience that reinforces curriculum.

What AI/computer-vision techniques can students learn on this platform?

The OpenCV-based vision system supports the full computer-vision curriculum: image acquisition, color-space conversion, edge detection, contour finding, shape recognition, feature matching, template matching, and basic deep-learning integration via Python frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). Advanced students can implement YOLO-based detection, custom CNNs, and end-to-end deep-learning pipelines.

Does the cell teach laser-process engineering specifically?

Yes, partially. Students learn the basics of laser process integration: laser focus, dwell time, marking depth, raster vs. vector engraving, and laser-safety. The cell does not provide a deep-dive on laser physics or beam delivery optics; for that level of laser engineering, dedicated laser-process courses and equipment are needed. The cell teaches laser-as-a-process-step in a smart factory context.

Can students design their own engraving patterns?

Yes. The laser-engraving software supports custom design import (typical formats include SVG, DXF, PNG, JPG) and parametric pattern generation. Students can design patterns in any standard graphics tool, import to the engraving software, configure laser parameters, and execute via the cell's coordinated production run.

How does the cell compare to dedicated laser engravers for hobby or production use?

Dedicated laser engravers (xTool, Glowforge, full-frame industrial laser cutters) are optimized purely for engraving and cutting throughput. The WLKATA Engraved Souvenirs Line is optimized for teaching the integrated smart-factory production model: how a laser process integrates with vision-AI, conveyor flow, and robotic handling. Students learning industrial smart-manufacturing benefit from the integrated cell; users only needing engraving throughput would buy a dedicated engraver instead.

What kinds of capstone projects can students develop on the cell?

Capstone project ideas include: custom AI vision models for part inspection, novel engraving algorithms (parametric designs, generative patterns), integrated barcode or QR-code reading for customer-order routing, multi-product simultaneous production with priority scheduling, IoT integration with cloud platforms, and AR-overlay operator interfaces. The cell's multi-domain integration supports broad project scope.

What protection do I get buying through RoboticsSelect as an authorized WLKATA dealer?

Authorized dealer status ensures warranty claims are processed through verified channels. For schools, vocational institutes, and maker spaces purchasing multiple cells or committing to multi-year curriculum partnerships, RoboticsSelect supports institutional purchase orders and dealer-direct support.
