Outright returns after shipment incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping, and manufacturer restocking fees (usually around 20%) may also apply — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. The WLKATA Mirobot Professional Kit is the higher-tier version of the WLKATA Mirobot 6-axis desktop robotic arm. It uses the same 6+1 axis arm as the Education Kit, with a 315 mm reach, 0.2 mm repeatability, and a 250 gram standard payload (up to 400 grams near the desktop), and adds a fuller set of end effectors, a wireless teach pendant, and university-level curriculum for deeper coursework.

The kit does not include a camera, but the WLKATA AI Vision Set (sold separately) adds an OpenMV camera on a vision stand with a calibration board, so students can align camera and arm coordinates and run color and shape sorting with the Mirobot. The included calibration board and blocks support the arm-side setup.

Is the wireless controller a teach pendant?

Yes, functionally. The wireless Bluetooth teach pendant lets beginners jog and position the arm without a PC. Teach-and-play recording is supported in WLKATA Studio: pose the arm, record, and replay or modify the trajectory in software. Useful for teaching students how industrial robots are actually programmed in factories.

Does it support coordinated arm-and-conveyor tasks?

Yes. The WLKATA Conveyor Belt Set (purchased separately; a basic conveyor accessory ships with the Education Kit) is controlled through the same WLKATA Studio and Python SDK workflow as the arm. A student can write a task that picks objects arriving on the belt, which is the core of automated production work.

What advanced curriculum topics does the Professional Kit cover that Education does not?

Robotics with MATLAB and CoppeliaSim (kinematics modeling, simulation and digital-twin workflows) and robot development with ROS, through the university-level textbooks bundled with the kit. URDF files with MoveIt and Gazebo configurations are provided in WLKATA's ROS packages, and the Mirobot is also supported in CoppeliaSim (V-REP), Webots, MATLAB and NVIDIA Omniverse. Isaac Sim, MuJoCo and PyBullet are not officially supported, though the URDF can be imported into them. Simulation lets students test motion planning before running programs on the hardware.
