TerraMow is a Shenzhen-based robotic lawn mower maker whose parent company was founded in 2019. While most of the industry navigates by satellite positioning or buried wire, TerraMow builds its mowers around pure AI vision: onboard cameras map the lawn, find the boundaries, and steer around obstacles. RoboticsSelect carries the TerraMow V1000, the brand's wire-free mower for lawns up to roughly 0.3 acre.
What makes TerraMow different
Most robotic mowers need either a buried boundary wire or an RTK satellite antenna to know where the lawn ends. TerraMow's answer is neither: the TerraVision triple-camera AI vision system sees the lawn the way you do. The V1000 maps your yard with one tap, learns the boundaries on its own, and mows in neat straight lines - backing into corners to finish edges - with no wire to bury, no antenna mast, and no GPS signal to lose under trees.
That camera-first design pays off in practical ways. Shaded areas and tree cover that break satellite-based mowers do not bother a vision system. 3D obstacle avoidance spots trees, furniture, pets, and garden gear in real time. And because the mower already carries cameras, the app gives you a live view of the lawn as it works. The V1000 covers lawns up to about 1,200 square meters (roughly 0.3 acre), runs up to 150 minutes per charge, handles slopes to 18 degrees, and mows at under 54 decibels - quiet enough for early mornings.
TerraMow at RoboticsSelect
We currently carry the TerraMow V1000, the brand's wire-free vision mower for small and mid-size lawns. It ships with the charging base station, a 9-piece blade kit, and app control over Wi-Fi or optional 4G, with cutting height adjustable from 25 to 75 mm in the app. It is IPX6 water-resistant with a rain sensor, and returns to base to recharge before picking up exactly where it left off.
