The myController S570 is the first portable dual-arm exoskeleton data acquisition device developed by Elephant Robotics. It bridges the gap between human motion and robotic execution, providing researchers, developers, and educators with an intuitive tool for capturing motion data, performing robot teleoperation, and conducting end-to-end application development.
Featuring 12 degrees of freedom (6 per arm), the S570 captures motion data at up to 100Hz, enabling precise AI training datasets and efficient robotic motion capture for complex research scenarios.
The device is built around an ESP32-based M5Stack main controller with dual Atom auxiliary controllers, providing onboard processing, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C connectivity. Each arm spans 570mm with a total combined span of 1,500mm, while the entire unit weighs just 1.5kg for comfortable extended wear. It includes dual-finger controllers, dual-button controls at the end effector, joysticks, and a gyroscope for rich, multi-modal input data.
The S570 is highly compatible with Elephant Robotics’ product ecosystem, supporting direct teleoperation of the myCobot 280, myCobot 320, myCobot Pro 630, myAGV, mechArm 270, myArm M750, myBuddy 280, and Mercury humanoid robots. Its variable configuration allows flexible pairing with 5-DOF, 6-DOF, and 7-DOF robots.
It is ideal for education and training environments where students need hands-on experience, as well as advanced research labs requiring high-fidelity motion data for algorithm development, LeRobot framework integration, and end-to-end robotic learning pipelines.
