Price Match Guarantee

At RoboticsSelect, you should never have to choose between the right product and the right price. We match competitor pricing on every product in our catalog, and for orders over $2,000, we will beat the lowest verified price by $50.

To request a price match, send a screenshot or link to support@roboticsselect.com showing the lower price at any authorized online retailer. We respond within one business day.

A few requirements: the competitor must be an authorized dealer, the product must be in stock on their site, and the comparison includes shipping but excludes sales tax. Auction sites, marketplace third-party sellers, and one-day holiday promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) are excluded.

Returns & Refunds

Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included. Certain manufacturers impose stricter return terms on specialty robotics hardware; the specific policy for each product is listed on its product page.

To start a return, email support@roboticsselect.com with your order number and the reason. We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within one business day. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our discretion.

Damaged-on-arrival and defective units qualify for free return shipping and full refunds. Elective returns (changed your mind, wrong model) are subject to manufacturer restocking fees ranging from 0% to 25% and customer-paid return shipping. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping & Delivery

Every product ships free to the 48 contiguous United States with no order minimum, including oversized and heavy items.

Smaller items (robotic kits, accessories, pool skimmers) ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with email tracking sent at dispatch.

Larger items (robotic lawn mowers, humanoid and quadruped robots) ship via LTL freight on pallets. The freight carrier calls 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window, Monday through Friday. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only; drivers will not move the product into your home, garage, or yard.

Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of delivery. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing: this is critical for processing freight claims if needed.

International shipping, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not included in standard free shipping. Email support@roboticsselect.com for a custom quote to these destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the Mirobot Advanced Kit and Professional Kit?

The Advanced Kit adds the AI assistant voice control box and electromagnetic gripper, neither of which are included in the Professional Kit. Both kits include the wireless Bluetooth controller, pneumatic box, three-finger soft gripper, two-finger gripper, and suction cup with three cup head sizes. The Advanced Kit is the flagship configuration for buyers who want voice control and full magnetic gripping; the Professional Kit is a smaller bundle without those two specific tools.

Is the Mirobot precise enough for university research?

The Mirobot's plus/minus 0.2 mm repeatability suits coursework, demonstrations, and light prototyping but is not adequate for precision research (sub-0.1 mm tasks). University research requiring industrial-grade precision should use the Haro380 (0.05 mm) or full industrial cobots. The Mirobot is best for teaching curriculum content rather than running research experiments dependent on tight tolerances.

Can I use the Mirobot with my school's existing PCs and software?

WLKATA Studio runs on Windows XP and later. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections work with most modern laptops. Mac and Linux users typically work through Python, ROS, or browser-based interfaces. Schools with mixed Windows/Chromebook environments often standardize on Windows desktops for the Mirobot software.

What payload can the Mirobot lift?

The Mirobot is rated for 250 g standard payload, suitable for small electronic components, paper cups, light tools, small mechanical parts, and similar small objects. It cannot lift heavy production parts or commercial tooling. For higher payloads up to 600 g, the MT4 (4-axis, palletizing-style) is the WLKATA option; for 500-1000 g with full 6 DoF, the Haro380.

Does the AI voice control module require an internet connection?

The voice control box uses local voice recognition for preset commands and does not require internet for basic operation. Custom command training and advanced AI features may benefit from cloud connectivity. Schools with offline labs can use the voice control module's local-mode functions.

What end effectors come with the kit?

The Advanced Kit includes the electromagnetic gripper, three-finger soft gripper, two-finger gripper, suction cup with three head sizes (S/M/L), and the pneumatic box. The Professional Kit excludes the electromagnetic gripper; the Education Kit excludes both the electromagnetic gripper and the wireless Bluetooth controller.

Can students program the Mirobot in Python directly?

Yes. The Mirobot supports Python programming via the WLKATA Python SDK. Sample programs are available in the GitHub repository, and the free Mirobot Programming and Control textbook includes detailed Python exercises. Python is the recommended progression after students complete Blockly-based introductory exercises.

Does the Mirobot integrate with ROS for university research courses?

Yes. ROS1 (Noetic) packages are available on GitHub. MATLAB Robotics Toolbox and CoppeliaSim/V-Rep integration enable digital twin and simulation workflows. University textbooks for Mirobot ROS Noetic and MATLAB are available from WLKATA.

How does the Mirobot compare to the MT4?

The Mirobot is 6+1 DoF at 0.2 mm precision and 250 g payload. The MT4 is 4+1 DoF (palletizing-style with end-effector always pointing down) at 0.1 mm precision and 500-600 g payload. Choose the Mirobot for 6-axis kinematics teaching and 6 DoF coursework; choose the MT4 for higher precision, higher payload, and a rebuildable metal frame that teaches mechanical assembly.

Can the Mirobot run autonomously for extended periods without a connected PC?

The Mirobot requires a control interface (PC, mobile app, Bluetooth controller, or voice control) to execute programs. Pre-programmed sequences can run repeatedly once started, but the unit is not designed for unattended 24/7 production. Educational and demonstration use is the primary mode.

What additional protection do I get buying from RoboticsSelect as an authorized WLKATA dealer?

RoboticsSelect is an authorized WLKATA dealer, so the full 12-month manufacturer warranty applies to all Mirobot Advanced Kit purchases. Authorized dealer status ensures warranty claims are processed through verified channels and provides access to WLKATA's paid warranty extension program, which is valuable for K-12 schools and universities that want multi-year coverage on classroom robotics deployments.
