Returns & Refunds

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, free of charge. Custom and made-to-order products are put into production for your specific order, so all sales are final on those items.

You have 30 days from the date you receive an item to start a return — email support@roboticsselect.com or call (412) 415-7375. Products must be returned unopened and unused. Some brands set their own return terms, and the brand-specific policy on the product page overrides the general 30-day window; if the manufacturer will not permit a return, we cannot offer one.

Outright returns after shipment incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping, and manufacturer restocking fees (usually around 20%) may also apply — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds go to your original payment method and are processed within 10 days of our receiving the returned product.

Inspect the package when it arrives: note any damage when signing for delivery and send photos to support@roboticsselect.com within 24 hours — freight damage claims are not valid after 24 hours.

Standard curbside delivery is always completely free. Most orders ship out within 1-5 business days, and delivery takes 5-8 business days once shipped (estimated delivery 6-13 business days). All shipping times are estimates and can vary by brand, especially for made-to-order items.

Orders ship fully tracked via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and we email your tracking information within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse. If tracking hasn't arrived within six business days of ordering, contact support@roboticsselect.com.

Upgraded delivery options are also available: Threshold Shipping brings the item onto your porch or into a sheltered/garage area, and White Glove Delivery brings it into your room of choice, includes minor assembly, and removes all packaging.

We do not ship outside the USA, with limited exceptions — if checkout accepts your shipping address, we can deliver to it.

What's the difference between 4-axis palletizing kinematics and 6-axis kinematics?

In 4-axis palletizing (the MT4), the end effector always points downward, simplifying programming and increasing payload capacity but limiting orientation flexibility. In 6-axis (the Mirobot and Haro380), the end effector can rotate and tilt in any orientation, supporting more complex tasks but adding kinematic complexity. Palletizing covers a large portion of real-world automation (pick-and-place, stacking, sorting) where orientation flexibility is unnecessary.

Why does the MT4 have higher precision than the Mirobot?

The MT4's metal CNC frame and 4+1 DoF structure (vs. the Mirobot's 6+1 DoF plastic structure) reduce mechanical compliance and tolerance stack-up. Fewer joints mean fewer cumulative error sources, and metal joints are stiffer than plastic. The result is 0.1 mm repeatability vs. the Mirobot's 0.2 mm at a similar price point.

Can students actually rebuild the MT4 in class?

Yes. The MT4 is specifically designed for reverse engineering. The CNC metal frame uses hex screws throughout, allowing students to disassemble and reassemble the entire arm with the included hex tools. This teaches mechanical assembly, joint design, and the relationship between mechanical tolerances and final precision. Repeated rebuild cycles are part of the intended use.

Is the 600 g maximum payload realistic, or is it a marketing number?

The 500 g standard payload is the reliable, repeatable rating. The 600 g maximum applies under specific conditions (slow motion, balanced load near the base, optimal joint angles). For consistent operation, design applications around the 500 g standard rating; the 600 g number represents the absolute envelope, not continuous-use capacity.

Does the MT4 integrate with Arduino projects?

Yes. Full Arduino Mega 2560 compatibility is supported via the WLKATA Arduino library. Students can combine the MT4 with custom sensors, actuators, and microcontroller-based projects, building integrated robotics applications that go beyond what the arm alone can do.

What end effectors come with the Advanced Kit?

The Advanced Kit includes an extended end-effector collection beyond the Essential Kit's basic gripper set. Can the MT4 work with conveyor belts and slide rails for production line projects?

Yes. WLKATA's Conveyor Belt Set and Sliding Rail Set are designed specifically for integration with the MT4 (and other WLKATA arms). The combination enables mini-production line projects: parts arrive on the conveyor, the MT4 picks and sorts to drop locations, optionally on a moving base for extended reach. These accessories are sold separately.

Does the MT4 support ROS for university-level coursework?

Yes. The MT4 has ROS2 packages on GitHub. University students can use the MT4 for SLAM, motion planning, and Gazebo-simulated digital twin work. The 4+1 DoF kinematic model is sometimes easier to teach in ROS than full 6-axis arms, making the MT4 a good entry point for ROS courses.

Can I integrate AI vision with the MT4?
