If this is your first Yarbo, the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro, Yarbo Snow Blower, and Yarbo Blower packages include the Core with a module at a lower combined price. Certain features, such as Follow Me carrying and patrol monitoring, require the Smart Assist Module, which Yarbo sells separately.

1. Site the dock and base station: Place the Docking Station on level ground with access to power, and install the Data Center on its mounting pole in an open spot with a clear view of the sky so its RTK base station holds a strong satellite fix. If you use NetRTK instead, there is no base station to site: power on and connect to your local network from the app.
2. Install and charge the battery: Seat the removable Y Series battery and charge it on the dock or with the wired charger. A 20 to 80 percent charge takes about 90 minutes.
3. Set up the Yarbo app: Download the Yarbo app for iOS or Android, create an account, link the Core, and assign your Wi-Fi. Firmware for the robot and Data Center updates from the app.
4. Attach a module: Yarbo modules mount to the Core without tools. Pair the module in the app and it appears with its own task types and settings.
5. Map the property: Draw your working areas, pathways, sidewalks, and no-go zones in the app. Mapping is a one-time job; edits later are software changes, not hardware changes.
6. Create a work plan and schedule: Build a work plan for each area, set the schedule, and let Yarbo run it: the robot docks itself to recharge and resumes where it stopped.
