Robotic Snow Blowers

A robotic snow blower maps your driveway and walkways once, then watches the weather and starts clearing as snowfall begins, working the storm in passes and recharging itself between runs. The Yarbo Snow Blower ($5,699) is the autonomous snow blower we carry as an authorized Yarbo dealer: the tracked Yarbo Core with the two-stage Snow Blower Module Gen 2 attached, plus the Docking Station, Data Center, battery, charger, tool kit, and tow hitch. Existing Core owners can add the Snow Blower Module Gen 2 alone for $2,100, and the bundles on this page pair snow clearing with mowing, leaf blowing, or trimming on the same robot. The Y40P Snow Blower Gen 2 ($7,299, pre-order) puts the same module on Yarbo's upgraded hub-motor Core, rated for up to 7,000 square feet per charge.

The module is a two-stage unit with a 24-inch (600 mm) clearing width and a 12-inch (300 mm) intake height. It throws snow 6 to 40 feet through a chute that rotates from -10 to 190 degrees with a deflector that tilts from -5 to 50 degrees, so the snow lands where you want it rather than on the neighbor's car. Yarbo rates it for dry, wet, and packed snow on paved, concrete, and gravel surfaces (raise the intake about 2 inches to skim gravel), and a linear actuator lifts the auger over steps and cracks up to 2 inches. Q355 steel construction handles the abuse, the whole unit runs from -13 F to 113 F, and the second-generation module adds onboard heating that protects the battery in extreme cold; Yarbo describes Gen 2 as steadier in the cold with less upkeep.

Autonomy is the point. Map the driveway in the Yarbo app, set per-zone depth and schedules, and the robot monitors the weather, starts clearing when snowfall begins, docks itself at about 20 percent battery, and resumes at about 80 percent. It clears about 6,000 square feet per charge in 1 inch of snow and runs 90 minutes per charge; a Spiral Mode handles circular driveways, and you can take over by remote control from the app at any time. Positioning is RTK-GPS from the included Data Center or NetRTK cloud corrections, with binocular cameras and a bumper for obstacle detection. Slope capability with the snow module fitted is 36 percent (20 degrees).

If mowing is already handled, the Snow Blower + Blower bundle ($6,699) covers fall and winter: the same Core clears leaves with the 21 N Blower Module in autumn and snow through the winter. The Lawn Mower Pro + Snow Blower bundle ($7,599) pairs the two heaviest jobs of the year, a 6-acre mower in summer and the snow blower in winter, and the three-module bundle ($8,599) adds the blower for the complete all-season system. Modules swap without tools in about two minutes, and every job runs from one map. See the full Yarbo modular system or our Yarbo comparison for what ships in each box.
