Sunseeker

Most robotic-mower brands are startups; Sunseeker is an industrial manufacturer. Founded in Shanghai in 2009, the company runs 11 global branches with more than 1,600 employees, holds over 600 patents, and can build 2 million garden robots a year - scale that put more than 180,000 of its robotic mowers into service by 2024 and earned it a top-three global market share in the category. The design record keeps pace: a Red Dot Award in 2024, CES 2026 Best Products recognition, and a German Innovation Award for the LiDAR-guided X4.

The X series covers both wire-free navigation families in one lineup. Most models run AONavi, fusing centimeter-level RTK positioning with VSLAM cameras and Vision AI obstacle recognition trained on 200-plus object types. The X4 goes the other way entirely: a 360-degree 3D LiDAR scans 210,000 points per second for L-SLAM mapping, so there is no base station or antenna to install at all - Sunseeker calls it Drop and Go. The Gen 2 platform adds tri-wheel AWD with rear active steering and independent suspension, slope ratings to 35 degrees, and precise edge cutting to within 1.2 inches of borders on the X5 Gen 2.

We carry the current generation in full. The X4 ($1,399) brings LiDAR navigation to quarter-acre lawns with an IPX6 body and rear suspension. The X5 Gen 2 ($1,999) covers half an acre with AWD and border-hugging edge cutting, the X7 Gen 2 ($2,499) steps up to 0.75 acre with a 14-inch dual cutting disc and 35-degree slope rating, and the X7 Plus Gen 2 ($2,999) reaches 1.5 acres with standard 4G + GPS anti-theft tracking.

The prior generation stays in the lineup because it remains excellent value. The X3 Plus ($999.99) is our lowest-priced robotic mower, the X7 ($1,999.99) delivers the AWD 14-inch platform for 0.75-acre yards at $500 under its Gen 2 successor, and the X7 Plus ($2,999.99) manages 1.5 acres with 100-plus app zones. At the top, the X7 Pro ($4,299) is the coverage flagship of our entire store: a full 3 acres on one platform.
