These six span the whole range - every other model in the store slots between them. Move up the table for smarter navigation, stronger suction, and docks that do more of the maintenance themselves; move down for the same core LiDAR mapping and app control at a lower price. Dock style is the second axis: standard auto-empty docks handle dust only, multifunctional docks add hot-water mop washing and drying, and Refill & Drainage configurations plumb into your water lines.
Which one should you buy?
Saros Z70
Choose the Z70 if you want the most advanced robot vacuum made: the world's first mass-produced five-axis OmniGrip arm lifts socks, sandals, and light clutter out of the cleaning path, on top of 22,000 Pa suction, StarSight 2.0 navigation, and a dock that washes mops at 176 F. It is the model for households where floor clutter, not just dust, is the daily problem.
Saros 10R
Choose the Saros 10R for flagship navigation without the arm premium. StarSight 2.0 solid-state sensing recognizes 108 obstacle types, the AdaptiLift chassis climbs stacked thresholds, the 3.14-inch body slides under low furniture, and the 10-in-1 Dock 4.0 handles washing, drying, emptying, and detergent dosing for up to 70 days at a time.
Qrevo Curv
Choose the Qrevo Curv for the best all-round balance under $900: 18,500 Pa HyperForce suction, dual spinning mops with FlexiArm edge reach, the AdaptiLift chassis for 4 cm thresholds, and a hot-water-washing dock. For most homes with pets, rugs, and mixed flooring, this is the sweet spot; the Qrevo Edge 2 steps suction up to 25,000 Pa if you want more headroom.
Q7 M5+
Choose the Q7 M5+ to get the essentials right at $249.99: 10,000 Pa suction, dependable PreciSense LiDAR mapping, and an auto-empty dock whose 2.7 L bag goes up to 7 weeks between changes. If even that stretches the budget, the dock-free Q7 M5 keeps the same robot at $199.99.
Roborock lineup FAQs
What is the difference between the Saros, Qrevo, QV, Q, and S series?
Saros is the 2025 flagship line: StarSight solid-state navigation instead of a LiDAR turret, AdaptiLift chassis, ultra-slim bodies, and on the Z70 the OmniGrip arm. Qrevo is the premium mid-range with 18,500 to 25,000 Pa suction, dual spinning mops, and fully self-maintaining docks in Curv, Edge, and Slim shapes. QV is the newest mid line, packing an all-in-one dock near $550. Q series is the value tier - proven LiDAR mapping with auto-empty docks on "+" models. S series is the classic flagship family with sonic vibration mopping and RockDock Ultra stations.
Which dock type do I actually need?
Auto-empty docks (Q series "+") transfer dust into a sealed bag for up to 7 weeks - right for vacuum-first use. Multifunctional docks (Qrevo, QV, Saros) also wash the mops in hot water, dry them with warm air, refill the robot's tank, and on premium models dose detergent automatically - right if you mop regularly. Refill & Drainage docks, offered on the Saros 10, S8 Max Ultra, and S8 MaxV Ultra, plumb into household water lines so tank filling and dirty-water dumping disappear entirely.
Is the Certified Refurbished Qrevo MaxV worth it?
At $479.99, the Certified Refurbished Qrevo MaxV delivers a premium camera-navigation robot with a hot-washing dock for Q-series money. Certified Refurbished units are inspected, tested, and cleaned by certified technicians, show minimal or no visible wear, and carry a 6-month warranty instead of the 1-year term on new units. If the budget allows, the new Qrevo MaxV is $699.99 with the full 1-year warranty.
